Adventure Guides
Twelve planets. Hundreds of waypoints. Infinite things to discover.
Exploring the Galaxy
SWG Infinity gives you twelve fully explorable planets and more hidden content than any single player will ever find.
The SWG galaxy spans 12 unique planets, each with distinct environments, creature populations, resource spawns, dungeons, and player communities. No two planets feel the same — Naboo’s rolling plains and peaceful cities are a world apart from Dathomir’s hostile jungles.
Whether you want to hunt dangerous creatures, discover lore-rich locations, or simply find the best resource fields, the galaxy rewards the curious.
All 12 Planets
Every planet has something to offer — pick the right one for your goals.
Corellia
Starter-friendly with a thriving player city scene. Good mix of creature hunting, mission terminals, and social hubs. One of the most populated planets on the server — ideal for new arrivals. Reliable cantina entertainment can be found in Swamptown.
Naboo
Visually stunning with peaceful grasslands and elegant cities. Popular with crafters for its resource variety. The city of Highgarden is a major social hub with reliable cantina entertainment.
Tatooine
Desert planet with deep lore. Home to Jabba’s Palace, Anchorhead, and classic SWG content. Excellent for new players — strong mission terminal activity and good starting creature hunting.
Dantooine
Peaceful and expansive. Home to The Warren dungeon — a popular mid-level group destination. Good resource fields and relatively low danger outside the dungeon make it welcoming for explorers.
Lok
Volcanic and hostile. Home to Nym’s Stronghold and some of the galaxy’s tougher creature populations. Recommended for experienced players. Unique resource spawns reward the risk.
Rori
A moon of Naboo with dense jungles and aggressive creature populations. Excellent hunting grounds for Rangers and Creature Handlers. Contains unique resources not easily found elsewhere.
Talus
Twin planet to Corellia. Quieter but with good hunting and exploration content. Often overlooked, which means less competition for resource spawns. A solid choice for independent crafters.
Dathomir
High-risk, high-reward. Home to the Nightsister clan, Rancors, and — most importantly — The Village of Aurilia, instrumental in becoming a Jedi. Respect the difficulty here.
Endor
Dense forest moon with Ewok settlements and the legendary Death Watch Bunker (DWB) — one of the hardest group dungeons in the game. Beautiful environment, serious challenge.
Yavin 4
Jungle planet with strong Force-side lore. Home to the Geo Bio Lab dungeon, one of the premier group PvE destinations on the server. Excellent for organised dungeon guilds.
Kashyyyk
An Infinity custom version of the Wookie planet of Kashyyyk. It includes several quests and places to explore including the Rogue Imperial controlled Imperial Star Destroyer.
Hoth
An Infinity custom version of the ice planet of Hoth. Here there are caves to explore and the epic Battle of Hoth.
Points of Interest
Points of Interest (POIs) are named locations scattered across every planet. Some POIs will give a badge when you visit them.
To find POIs:
- ‣ Open the world map and activate the waypoints under Points of Interest (Not all POI badges are listed on the map. There are at least 30 in the galaxy that aren’t)
- ‣ Set waypoints from the datapad as you explore — mark anything interesting
- ‣ Ask in your guild — experienced players often share favourite discovery routes
- ‣ Explore, explore, explore.
Creature Hunting
Every planet has unique creature populations ranging from docile herd animals to apex predators that will kill an unprepared player instantly. Hunting is the primary source of combat XP and plays into Ranger, Scout, and Creature Handler progressions.
Planet recommendations by experience level:
New Players
Corellia, Naboo, Tatooine. Manageable creature difficulty, good loot tables, nearby cities for offloading.
Intermediate
Dantooine, Rori, Talus. Tougher creature varieties, better XP rates, some dangerous wildlife to watch for.
Experienced
Lok, Dathomir, Endor. Top-tier creatures, rare loot drops, significant risk. Bring a group or be confident in your build.
Explorer Tips
Always set waypoints
Every time you find something interesting — a great resource node, a dungeon entrance, a POI, a good hunting field — drop a waypoint immediately. Your datapad is your best friend. You will thank yourself later.
Respect Dathomir
Dathomir is not a planet for casual exploration. The Nightsister clan actively roams and will pursue players aggressively. Even experienced hunters can get overwhelmed. Always go in a group and always have an escape plan.
Get a speeder early
Planets are large. Walking everywhere is slow. Getting a speeder bike or vehicle as early as possible dramatically opens up your exploration range and makes the whole game feel more accessible. Check the bazaar for affordable options.
Frequently Asked Questions
New players are given the option to start in one of two player cities on Infinity. Highgarden on Naboo or Swamptown on Corellia. Both have cantinas that are reliably staffed with entertainers and doctors for buffing, mission terminals, trainers, and local vendors. There is also a new player quest in Highgarden that will acquaint you with many different aspects of the game.
Yes — SWG is full of them. Some POIs require precise navigation to locate, certain dungeons have hidden wings, and there are lore-significant locations that most players never find without a guide or a helpful guild member pointing the way. Part of the appeal of SWG is that even veteran players occasionally stumble across something they’ve never seen before. Ask in Discord and share what you find.
